‘In very wet and windy conditions, Romsey Road Runner, Steve Davies gained a third personal best time of the year by finishing the Lymington 10K Road Race in 48:18. Two other Romsey runners completed the flat course, Jane Field in 45:05 and Gill Callus 64:52.
Neil Payne also gained a personal best time when he completed the Bognor Prom 10K in 56:23.
Alistair Longworth completed the Fordingbridge 10K in 43:37 and the Alton 10 Mile in 1:15:37.
David Nixon undertook the South Downs Challenge and completed the 18½ mile, very wet, very hilly (three ascents of the South Downs) in 4 hours 53 mins. A week later he completed the ‘run in the Park’ 10K in 51:50.
Andrew Archibald completed the Netley 10K in 47:42.
Wendy Couper took part in the challenging Wherwell 10K Fun Run which, apparently was any but funny, in 68:53.
Matt Hurst enjoyed the well organised 20 mile Marlborough Challenge in a very impressive time of 2 hours 57 mins.
In the third race of the RR10 Series held at, 24 Romsey Road
Runners took part in the beautiful course at Wilverley Enclosure near Sway.

The Braishfield Beer Race, organised by Romsey Road Runners, takes place on Sunday 10 June at 10.30am. The 5-mile course is over quiet rural lanes with traffic free areas at the start and finish.
