Members now look forward to the last race in a few days time at IBM, Hursley, after which, final series placings will then be determined.

In the very warm temperatures of last Sunday, two members participated at Castle Combe Race Circuit for different events. Wendy Couper took part in the DB Max Castle Combe Classic Rowathlon, consisting of a 3K kayak, 21K bike ride and 3K run. She completed the course in 86:41, winning her age group and a nice bottle of wine! Nick Berryman finished the morning's 10K race, in 40:48.

Also on Sunday afternoon, social secretaries Julia Abab and Gill Callus organised a very successful 'School Sports Day' style picnic and games on the green at Braishfield Village Hall for members, their families and friends. Egg and spoon races, rounders, sack races and wheel barrow races were just some of the events enjoyed by all those present.
