'Conditions for this year's Totton 10K Road Race couldn't have been more different from the tropical weather of last year. Early morning snow and temperatures nearing freezing greeted the 15 Romsey Road Runners as they prepared for the 11.00am race. Nevertheless, seven members achieved personal best times; Michelle Shaw (54:30) taking over five minutes off her previous best time, Nick Berryman 39:28, Lynne Whitaker (40:58) first time under 41 minutes and 2nd in her age category, Paul Cross 44:34, Paul Slaughter 48:45, Ian Whyton 53:44 and Charlotte Maslen 53:52.
