Attached are pictures of the Romsey Road Runners team for the Mile of Miles Relay and an action shot of Derek Kelly who also competed in the AXLR8 Triathlon.

Romsey Road Runners entered a mixed team for the Mile of Miles relay race held at the Wide Lane sports ground, just outside of Eastliegh. Teams of ten members ran one mile in turn before handing over to the next member. The team finished an unspectacular 10th out of 14 teams but everyone met or exceeded expectations with their individual runs. Greg Roulston ran an exceptional sub 6 minute final leg to bring the team home. Possibly the outstanding contribution to the team came from a wonderfully moist and chocolaty cake that Julia Abab made and shared amongst the roadrunners that either ran or supported the team.

Chris Lane and Derek Kelly competed in the AXLR8 Wellington Triathlon. This is a charity event supporting Cancer Research UK and Naomi House Children's Hospice. It consisted of a 200m pool swim, 17km cycle followed by a 5k run. Chris finished with a PB in 1 hour 7 minutes and 5 seconds with Derek Kelly not far behind in 1 hour 12 minutes and 43 seconds in his very first triathlon.

Lynne Whitaker went all the way to Manchester to compete in the British Masters Athletic Federation 5k race in Horwich. This is a national competition and Lynne finished a very creditable 7th in her age category with a time of 21 minutes and 15 seconds.
