'Romsey Road Runners turned out in force for the first ever CC6 cross-country race to be held at Badger Farm, Winchester, with nearly a quarter of the club competing. Nick Berryman and Chris Brown achieved their best position by far finishing 5th and 9th respectively. The ladies had five runners in the top 20; Lynne Whitaker 7th, Sally Rowse 9th, Jane Field 16th, Tamatha Ryan 18th and Penny Jennings 20th. Badger Farm proved to be an undulating but enjoyable course even though a long drag to the finish seemed never-ending!
