RRR Safety First

To ensure that every member enjoys a safe and beneficial session, we ask that you adhere to the safety guidelines drawn up by the Club Committee, including:

  • Take direction from the Session Leader or nominated member leading the group
  • Run together as a group, ensuring that no individual member is more than 30m from a main group at any one time
  • Re-group after each effort, keeping a suitable recovery pace for the slowest member of the group between efforts
  • Inform the Session Leader if a member wishes to change groups or leave the group before the end of the session
  • Inform the Session Leader immediately if a member becomes unwell or has a fall during a session
  • Take responsibility for wearing light coloured or reflective clothing during runs on dark evenings
  • Do not wear or use personal headphones during sessions
