The club will be holding its AGM on Wednesday 6 November 2013, 7.30pm at Crosfield Hall. All members are invited to attend and have their say on Club matters, as well as vote in new members of the Committee. The draw for the Club’s London Marathon places will also take place at the AGM, and the evening will round off with tea and pizza!

The club has two entries for the London Marathon next year. If you are unsuccessful with your ballot entry and want to be considered for one of the club places, please drop Amanda an email and hand in your rejection slip to one of the Committee members. Please note in the email or mark on the slip whether you have run the London Marathon before.
The draw to allocate these places will take pace at the AGM on 6th November.
The latest issue of Relay, our club newsletter, is hot off the press! You can view Relay online, or for those who have opted to receive a paper copy they will be ready for collection at club sessions until 12 September, after which any remaining will be posted. Happy reading!

Join us for an evening of carb-loading and brain-teasing with our annual pasta party and quiz night in support of this year’s marathon runners. We will be hosting the feast on Tuesday 16 April 2013 at The Sun Inn. Look out for the booking slip in the March edition of Relay or speak to Karen or Di at club to book your place.

The pavements are now clear enough for us to run so the session on Thursday 24 January will be on as normal. See you at the Sports Centre.
Due to the icey conditions on the pavements, the club session on Monday 21 January has been cancelled. The Session Leaders will assess the conditions later in the week and advise whether Thursday’s session will go ahead or not. Stay safe!
Paul Burnage has an entry for the Stubbington 10k this Sunday that he is unable to use. It can be transferred but only to another male runner. If you would like to take up the entry, please contact Hannah asap who will put you in touch with Paul.
